RESOLUTION
Commending
Ms. Vonla Good; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
it is the tremendous efforts of the staff and management behind the scenes at a
hotel that ensure guests the most pleasant and enjoyable stay possible;
and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Vonla Good began working with Hyatt at the Hyatt Westshore in Tampa,
Florida, in 1991 and transferred to the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, Georgia, in
1994 and has been working there ever since; and
WHEREAS,
with the Hyatt Regency, Ms. Good attained the title of Senior Catering Manager;
and
WHEREAS,
in 2007 Ms. Good was honored with the Trumped Award presented by the president
and founder of the Trumpet Foundation, Xernona Clayton; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Good is retiring and returning to her native home in County Cork, Ireland,
and will be missed by all those in Georgia who have had the pleasure of her
friendship.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Ms. Vonla Good for her contributions to this state, congratulate her upon her
retirement, and wish her a happy 60th birthday this upcoming May
31st.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Vonla
Good.
