RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Dr. Sandra Case; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Sprayberry High School has selected the 2007-2008 STAR (Student Teacher
Achievement Recognition) students, and each student, in turn, has named his or
her STAR teacher in recognition of the impact that teacher has had on the
student's academic success;
and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sandra Case is widely recognized for her teaching abilities; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Sandra Case is widely recognized for her teaching abilities; and
WHEREAS,
she has fulfilled her role as a teacher, serving as an instrument of inspiration
and enthusiasm to her pupils and creating a positive and encouraging learning
environment; and
WHEREAS,
she is a shining example of the important impact that the efforts of individual
classroom teachers make on the quality of education received by the children of
this state, and it is abundantly fitting and proper that her superlative
accomplishments be recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily
and gratefully commend Dr. Sandra Case for her sacrifice, foresight,
accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of education in Georgia and for the
positive influence she has had upon the lives and futures of so many young
people in this state and congratulate her upon her selection as a STAR
teacher.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Dr. Sandra Case.
