A RESOLUTION


Recognizing Mrs. Mary Sue Driver Caldwell; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Mary Sue Driver Caldwell has touched countless lives with her generous and loving spirit, her courage, and her selflessness; and

WHEREAS, she was born on August 1, 1929, to Samuel Wright Driver and Sara Epsie Cosper, being the oldest of three children; and

WHEREAS, she married Wilbur Dewey Caldwell on March 8, 1945, and they had one son, Dewey David Caldwell; and

WHEREAS, she is an honest and dedicated woman who strives for excellence in all her endeavors as evidenced dramatically by her learning to play the piano in 1945, which she still plays today; and

WHEREAS, this generous, kind, and devoted family woman is loved by everyone she meets.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize Mrs. Mary Sue Driver Caldwell and extend to her their most sincerest wishes for a happy and healthy future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Mary Sue Driver Caldwell.
