RESOLUTION
Expressing
regret at the untimely passing of Brock Meadows; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
on January 31, 2008, the State of Georgia lost one of its most promising
citizens with the untimely passing of Brock Meadows; and
WHEREAS,
in his short two years on this earth, he brought immeasurable pleasure to all
whom he encountered and knew; and
WHEREAS,
he was a ball of energy with a joy for life and a happy laugh that brought forth
happiness in every room that he entered; and
WHEREAS,
his inquisitive nature and bright mind were always in quest of a new challenge
and a new exploration; and
WHEREAS,
this young child gave inspiration to many through his simple but deep belief in
God and through the way that his life touched so many other lives in such a
short time; and
WHEREAS,
through his short life, he made this world a better place in which to live;
and
WHEREAS,
Brock was the beloved son of Drew and Nita Meadows; and his passing with all of
his unattained potential leaves an unfillable void in the hearts, lives, and
spirits of his family and friends.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body express
their deepest and most sincere regret at the untimely passing of Brock
Meadows.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Brock
Meadows.
