RESOLUTION
Commending
Miss Jessica Nicole Roberts and congratulating her on winning the 2008 Little
Miss Columbus competition; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Miss Jessica Nicole Roberts of Columbus, Georgia, has been named Georgia´s
Little Miss Columbus for 2008; and
WHEREAS,
she is the four year old daughter of Mr. V. J. and Oz Roberts; and
WHEREAS,
the pageant was held at Brookstone School, where competitors were up to 19 years
old; and
WHEREAS,
in addition to capturing the title, she was also named "Most Photogenic";
and
WHEREAS,
she competed in the talent competition by singing and dancing to "You´re
Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from
Annie;
and
WHEREAS,
Miss Jessica Nicole Roberts has brought happiness to her family, her friends,
and her community in being named Little Miss Columbus for 2008.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
commending Miss Jessica Nicole Roberts for her outstanding accomplishments and
congratulate her on winning the Little Miss Columbus for 2008.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Miss Jessica Nicole
Roberts.
