RESOLUTION
Commending
Coach Kevin Trobaugh and the Trion High School Debate Team; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Trion High School Debate Team has established and maintained a proud
tradition of excellence in debate competition; and
WHEREAS,
this titanic team has completed another ultrasuccessful season by capturing the
2007 A State Championship for the fourth consecutive year; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Kevin Trobaugh played an important role in Trion High School´s
success at this year´s state debate tournament; and
WHEREAS,
under the expert and unwavering guidance of Coach Trobaugh, his debaters have
developed and refined the mental agility, verbal adroitness, and intellectual
acumen that are necessary for continued excellence in academic competition;
and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding record of scholarly
achievement and peerless performance of the members of the team be recognized
appropriately.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Kevin Trobaugh and the members of the Trion High School Debate
Team for their outstanding pursuit and attainment of academic excellence and
extend to them sincerest best wishes for continued success in the
future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Kevin
Trobaugh.
