RESOLUTION
Recognizing
Mike Poole; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Poole announced his retirement from his position as the Superintendent of
Chattooga County Schools; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Poole has served the Chattooga County School District for more than 30
years as a physical education teacher, principal, and superintendent director,
and his expertise has been indispensable in the development of the youth of
Chattooga County; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Poole has demonstrated selflessness and dedication to his profession, and
his career has been a shining example to educators throughout the State of
Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
there is no greater contribution to society than educating its youth, and Mr.
Poole´s years of service to this endeavor have earned him a profitable
retirement.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize Mr. Mike Poole for his years of service to the Chattooga
County School System and wish him a happy retirement.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Mike
Poole.
