RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Trevor Burdick; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Trevor competed in the 2007 USA Wrestling League Georgia State Championships and
won the state championship in the 40 pound Peewee Division; and
WHEREAS,
Trevor is the lightest state champion ever from Chattooga County, Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
en route to his championship, Trevor finished with a dominating 4-0 record at
the meet; and
WHEREAS,
Trevor says he likes wrestling because it is the "hardest sport"; and
WHEREAS,
Trevor is the son of Jake and Vickie Burdick, whose selfless support and
sacrifice has surely been a priceless contribution to Trevor´s success as a
wrestler.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate young Trevor Burdick on his 2007 USA Wrestling League
Georgia State Championship.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Trevor
Burdick.
