RESOLUTION
Commending
Judy Hill of the Legislative Fiscal Office on the occasion of her retirement;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Judy Hill has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital
role that she has played in community leadership and her deep personal
commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Judy Hill served the Clerk's office with distinction, preparing the House
Journal during the legislative session from 1986 to 2000, before coming to the
Legislative Fiscal Office full time, where she has diligently and
conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time, talents, and energy
toward the betterment of her state; and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, and her sensitivity to the needs of the members of the General
Assembly have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues,
associates, and the members of this body; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strength with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; her loyalty, competency,
reliability, and enthusiasm have distinguished her excellent service to this
state as she has acted as the Assistant Fiscal Officer of the Legislative Fiscal
Office; and
WHEREAS,
she shares her retirement with her loving husband, Barry, who is retired from
his career with Georgia Power; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Judy Hill for her dedicated public service to the citizens of
her state, convey to her their heartiest congratulations upon the occasion of
her retirement, and extend to her their sincerest best wishes for continued
health and happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Judy Hill.
