RESOLUTION
Commending
Vickie Lochbaum of the Legislative Fiscal Office on the occasion of her
retirement; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Vickie Lochbaum has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the
vital role that she has played in community leadership and her deep personal
commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Vickie Lochbaum worked for the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia
Technology Authority before coming to the General Assembly, and she has
diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time, talents,
and energy toward the betterment of her state during her more than 34 years of
superlative service in state employment; and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, and her sensitivity to the needs of the members of the General
Assembly have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues,
associates, and the members of this body; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strength with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; her loyalty, competency,
reliability, and enthusiasm have distinguished her excellent service to this
state as she has acted as the Member's Expense Accountant of the Legislative
Fiscal Office; and
WHEREAS,
she shares her retirement with her loving husband, Mike, who is also retired
from 34 years of state employment; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Vickie Lochbaum for her dedicated public service to the
citizens of her state, convey to her their heartiest congratulations upon the
occasion of her retirement, and extend to her their sincerest best wishes for
continued health and happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Vickie
Lochbaum.
