RESOLUTION
Recognizing
Campbell Middle School's Advanced Placement Certified School Affiliate status;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Campbell Middle School has been selected by the Cobb County Board of Education
as an Advanced Placement Certified School Affiliate; and
WHEREAS,
the central goal of this initiative is for middle schools to work with their
local high schools to prepare students for the challenge provided by honors and
advanced placement courses; and
WHEREAS,
the program promotes academic support for students to attempt these challenging
courses and provides needed professional development for teachers;
and
WHEREAS,
Campbell Middle School has met the rigorous standards of this initiative; and
WHEREAS,
the administration, the teachers, and the students of Campbell Middle School
deserve to be very proud of this exceptional accomplishment.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize Campbell Middle School's Advanced Placement Certified School
Affiliate status and join together to commend Campbell Middle School's
administration, teachers, and students for earning the Advanced Placement
Certified School Affiliate status.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Lynne Hutnik,
the principal at Campbell Middle School.
