RESOLUTION
Recognizing
Campbell High School's Advanced Placement Certified School status; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Campbell High School has been selected by the Cobb County Board of Education as
one of the Advanced Placement Certified Schools; and
WHEREAS,
the central goal of this initiative is to promote greater student access to
honors and advanced placement courses; and
WHEREAS,
the Advanced Placement Certified School status promotes academic support for
students to attempt these challenging courses and provides needed professional
development for teachers; and
WHEREAS,
Campbell High School has met the rigorous standards of this initiative; and
WHEREAS,
the administration, the teachers, and the students of Campbell High School
deserve to be very proud of this exceptional accomplishment.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize Campbell High School's Advanced Placement Certified School
status and join together to commend Campbell High School's administration,
teachers, and students for earning the Advanced Placement Certified School
status.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Kehl Arnson,
the principal at Campbell High School.
