RESOLUTION
Commending
Paul Graham and inviting him to appear before the House of Representatives; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Paul Graham has been selected as the state´s recipient of the 2006 Rick
Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction for Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Graham, a Computer Information Systems instructor at Southeastern Technical
College, has exemplified excellence in instructional knowledge and practices;
and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of such, Mr. Graham was selected from an elite group of
instructors who have each demonstrated innovative teaching practices and
exceptional leadership skills at their respective technical colleges;
and
WHEREAS,
through dedication and professionalism, Mr. Graham has brought honor to himself,
his family, his college, and the Technical College System of Georgia, which he
represents as Georgia´s postsecondary technical education instructor of the
year.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Paul Graham for his achievements and his efforts to promote
technical education in Georgia and invite him to appear before this body on a
date and time designated by the Speaker of the House of
Representatives.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Paul Graham.
