RESOLUTION
Congratulating
the 2006-2007 University of West Georgia Coed Cheerleading Squad; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the University of West Georgia Coed Cheerleading Squad has served with
distinction during the 2006-2007 sports season as a peerless and incomparable
representative of its student body and community, winning its sixth consecutive
UCA Championship title; and
WHEREAS,
these outstanding athletes demonstrated considerable talent, discipline,
coordination, and teamwork throughout the season, and their cheerleading
routines and formations reflect their tremendous creativity, wonderful spirit,
and powerful athleticism; and
WHEREAS,
the University of West Georgia Coed Cheerleading Squad includes Christie Shouse,
Candice Abney, Cory Brown, Eric Deal, Gennah Duclo, Gennal Duclo, Jeremy
Frederick, Justin Henson, Michael Kirby, Tommy Lane, Sarah Masters, Ryan
McKinnon, Amber Melear, Brittney Moss, Brian Nichols, Sarah Roberts, Stephanie
Shouse, and Jonathan Tuggle; and
WHEREAS,
the squad´s performance during the state competition clearly showed the
extensive training, development, and direction these cheerleaders received from
Head Coach Sherry Cooney and Assistant Coach John Morgan.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend the 2006-2007 University of West Georgia Coed Cheerleading
Squad for its remarkable performance.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Head Coach
Sherry Cooney.
