RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Krystal Wilson of Heritage High School for 13 years of perfect
attendance; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Krystal Wilson maintained perfect attendance throughout her entire educational
career, attending class without missing a single day from kindergarten through
the 12th grade; and
WHEREAS,
Krystal graduated from Rockdale County High School with a 3.4 grade point
average; and
WHEREAS,
Krystal's older brothers, Trey and Steven, had also achieved perfect attendance,
and Krystal was so determined to follow in her brothers' footsteps that she went
to school regardless of sickness or injury; and
WHEREAS,
at a time when many young people in Georgia never finish high school, dedicated
students like Krystal are an inspiration to their peers; and
WHEREAS,
Krystal has proven herself to be a rare type of individual, one possessed of an
extraordinary force of will, who, through sickness and injury and on as many
rainy days as in fair weather, set certain goals for herself that she followed
through to the very end; and
WHEREAS,
her actions have honored her family, community, and the State of
Georgia.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in commending Krystal Wilson for her 13 years of flawless school
attendance and in extending to her the best of wishes for a golden tomorrow.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Krystal
Wilson.
