RESOLUTION
Commending
Charles Evans; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Charles Evans was awarded Redmond Regional Medical Center´s 2007 Frist
Humanitarian Award as Volunteer of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
the award is the highest honor a Hospital Corporation of America volunteer can
receive; and
WHEREAS,
this minister has volunteered at Redmond Medical Center on Tuesday afternoons
for nearly a decade, working in the main lobby assisting with information and
patient discharges; and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting and proper that this outstanding individual, who gives so
unselfishly of his time and effort to others, be recognized and honored for his
many contributions to his community and to the State of Georgia.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Charles Evans for being selected to receive Redmond Regional
Medical Center´s 2007 Frist Humanitarian Award as Volunteer of the
Year.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Charles
Evans.
