RESOLUTION
Commending
Lisa Dempsey; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Lisa Dempsey was awarded Redmond Regional Medical Center´s 2007 Frist
Humanitarian Award as Employee of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
the award is the highest honor an employee of the Hospital Corporation of
America can receive; and
WHEREAS,
Lisa Dempsey has been with Redmond Medical Center since 1986 and has been
serving as an oncology nurse since September, 1987; and
WHEREAS,
she is the director of Camp Bluebird, an adult camp for cancer patients, and is
also very active in the Surviving to Share program and Relay for Life;
and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting and proper that this dynamic woman be recognized and honored for
her many contributions to her community and to the State of
Georgia.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Lisa Dempsey for earning the honor of Redmond Regional Medical
Center´s 2007 Frist Humanitarian Award as Employee of the
Year.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Lisa Dempsey.
