A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Craig Schmidt; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Darlington School has selected the 2007-2008 STAR (Student Teacher Achievement
Recognition) students, and each student, in turn, has named his or her STAR
teacher in recognition of the impact that teacher has had on the student's
academic success;
and
WHEREAS, Craig Schmidt is widely recognized for his teaching abilities; and
WHEREAS, Craig Schmidt is widely recognized for his teaching abilities; and
WHEREAS,
he has fulfilled his role as a teacher, serving as an instrument of inspiration
and enthusiasm to his pupils and creating a positive and encouraging learning
environment; and
WHEREAS,
he is a shining example of the important impact that the efforts of individual
classroom teachers make on the quality of education received by the children of
this state, and it is abundantly fitting and proper that his superlative
accomplishments be recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily and gratefully commend Craig Schmidt for his sacrifice,
foresight, accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of education in Georgia
and for the positive influence he has had upon the lives and futures of so many
young people in this state and congratulate him upon his selection as a STAR
teacher.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Craig
Schmidt.
