RESOLUTION
Commending
Mrs. Paula H. Gault for her years of service to the Forsyth County School System
and congratulating her upon her retirement; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Gault has served as Superintendent of the Forsyth County School System
since 2001; and
WHEREAS,
over the years of service to the school system, Mrs. Gault has been a teacher,
assistant principal, director of special curriculum programs, director of
administrative services to the Superintendent, and Associate Superintendent;
and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Gault obtained a Bachelor of Education and a Specialist in Education from
the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Education from North Georgia
College; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Gault, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, has dedicated her entire
professional life to the education of Forsyth County´s youth and has
supervised as the educational system in Forsyth County has become a leader not
only in this state but in the nation for its advancements in teaching and
learning; and
WHEREAS,
as her legacy, Mrs. Gault leaves behind countless students who have been touched
by her efforts and a school system that has achieved as a result of her
dedication and commitment.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Mrs. Paula H. Gault for her years of service to the Forsyth
County School System and congratulate her upon her upcoming
retirement.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Paula H.
Gault.
