A RESOLUTION


Expressing regret at the passing of Stephanie Fowler Saussy; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, during the course of her remarkable life, Stephanie Fowler Saussy touched countless lives with her generous and loving spirit and her courage, selflessness, and willingness to teach others; and

WHEREAS, she was born in Landstul, Germany, to Allison G. Fowler and Wanda Johnson Fowler and made her home in Waycross, Georgia, graduating from Georgia Southern University and earning a master's degree from Valdosta State University; and

WHEREAS, she was a active member of the Tau Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Honor Society, the Georgia Teachers Association, and the National Teachers Association, a sustaining member of the Waycross Service League, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church; and

WHEREAS, her devotion to duty, outstanding loyalty, and meticulous attention to detail in all her duties throughout her life will be remembered by everyone who knew her; and

WHEREAS, she was a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, her unparalleled talents, her remarkable patience and diplomacy, her keen sense of vision, and her acute sensitivity to the needs of her family, friends, and the citizens of her community and state earned her the respect and admiration of everyone she knew.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body express their deepest and most sincere regret at the passing Stephanie Fowler Saussy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Stephanie Fowler Saussy.
