RESOLUTION
Commending
Daymetrie D. Williams on his service as a legislative intern; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the members of this body have been very fortunate to have had the exceptional
service of Daymetrie D. Williams, whose work as a legislative intern has been
marked by his devotion to serving Representative Randal Mangham, the State of
Georgia, and his constant commitment to the highest standards of excellence;
and
WHEREAS,
this accomplished young man, an outstanding graduate of West Virginia State
University, founded the Rodeo School of Excellence, a not-for-profit company in
West Virginia that teaches horsemanship skills to at-risk youth, and founded the
East Coast Bucking Rodeo Association, LLC, a for-profit company which breeds
and sells horses, and he is incredibly successful at any endeavor he pursues;
and
WHEREAS,
he was born on July 15, 1983, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to proud parents David
Williams, Jr. and Barbara Williams who are residents of Riverdale, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
as an intern, Mr. Williams has conducted research, summarized bills, assisted
with committee meetings, assisted Representative Mangham on the floor and with
legislation, and aided constituents with their inquiries, duties that he has
consistently carried out with the utmost care and professionalism;
and
WHEREAS,
his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the
members of the General Assembly have earned him the respect and admiration of
his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Williams' hard work and dedication have been an enormous asset to Georgians
everywhere, and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the
invaluable service of interns such as he who enable their business to run
smoothly and successfully.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join to commend Daymetrie D. Williams on his outstanding service as a
legislative intern and extend to him their best wishes for the greatest success
and happiness in all his future endeavors.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Daymetrie D.
Williams.
