RESOLUTION
Commending
Coach Mark Loudermilk; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Coach Loudermilk is the head football coach at Cedartown High School in
Cedartown, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Loudermilk was a three-year letterman as an offensive guard at West
Georgia College in Carrolton, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Loudermilk has brought success to every program where he has served as a
head coach, including state playoff berths in 1998, 1999, and 2000 at Pickens
County High School; Regional Championships in 2002 and 2003 and a state playoff
berth in 2004 at Trion High School; and, most recently, a state playoff berth in
2007 at Cedertown High School; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Loudermilk was recognized as the
Chattanooga Times Free
Press North Georgia Coach of the Year in
2003 and as the Rome
News Tribune Coach of the Year in 2007;
and
WHEREAS,
Coach Loudermilk and his lovely wife, Julie, have two children, Mac, who is 13,
and Carly, who is ten.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Coach Mark Loudermilk and extend their best wishes for his
continued success as he mentors future generations of Georgians.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Mark
Loudermilk.
