RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and expressing appreciation to Cindy Harden; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cindy Harden has enjoyed a long and illustrious career in state government,
and among other positions she has served in the office of the Governor and with
the Court of Appeals; and
WHEREAS,
during the 2008 legislative session she joined the staff of the Office of
Legislative Counsel serving this General Assembly, thereby becoming one of the
few individuals who have worked in all three branches of Georgia state
government; and
WHEREAS,
she has always been a most exemplary and admired public servant and she has
likewise conformed to the highest standards of excellence during the 2008
legislative session, preparing more than a thousand privileged resolutions for
the members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate; and
WHEREAS,
all of the members of this body who have come to know her have been highly
impressed with her professionalism, hard work, courtesy, and writing skills; and
her work product will be widely circulated around the state and will reflect
credit upon this body.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body do hereby recognize Cindy Harden and express to her their gratitude
for the outstanding services which she has rendered to the General
Assembly.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Cindy
Harden.
