RESOLUTION
Commending
Nichole Proctor; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
important objective of the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS,
Nichole Proctor has shown by the example of her accomplishments that the pursuit
and attainment of scholastic success is within the reach of the students in this
state; and
WHEREAS,
Nichole is a student at Rockmart High School, and despite very difficult
circumstances, she continues to show progress and display a positive attitude;
and
WHEREAS,
she is not reluctant to ask for assistance from the student support staff, and
she often volunteers to help students with projects or assignments;
and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable student has earned distinction through her superlative attitude
and positive outlook; and
WHEREAS,
she has recently taken an active leadership role in the Career Technical
Instruction program and presently serves as CTI state president, and she is also
active in the DECA and GCSA Chapters; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the extraordinary
accomplishments and unsurpassed commitment to excellence of such an outstanding
individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Nichole Proctor for her spectacular attitude and
express to her their sincere best wishes for success in the
future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Nichole Proctor.
