A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
Rockmart native Danny Ware of the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants and
inviting him to appear before the House of Representatives; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Danny Ware grew up in Rockmart, Georgia, and is the son of Tammy and Danny Ware,
Sr., and he attributes his success thus far to his parents being in his life;
and
WHEREAS,
growing up, his parents pushed him to strive to be the best, made him work hard,
and would never let him quit; and
WHEREAS,
Danny Ware is a Rockmart High School graduate and the newest Georgia Bulldog
running back to get a Super Bowl ring; and
WHEREAS,
he was signed by the New York Jets, keeping him on the radar for many teams;
and
WHEREAS,
his life changed on December 5, 2007, when he was signed by the New York Giants;
and
WHEREAS,
when the New York Giants went to Super Bowl XLII against the New England
Patriots this year, Danny was on the team and ecstatic to be there when they
took the victory; and
WHEREAS,
as this player has earned recognition by performing with vigor and precision
over months of training and competition, it is fitting and proper to commend
such an outstanding Georgia athlete.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Danny Ware on his signing as a member of the New York
Giants, extend to him their sincerest best wishes for his future, and invite him
to appear before this body at a date and time designated by the Speaker of the
House for the purposes of being recognized by the House and receiving an
appropriate copy of this resolution.
