A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ms. Lauren Stoker; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Lauren Stoker is an outstanding athlete as shown by her athletic
accomplishments; and
WHEREAS,
she has played varsity softball all of her high school years, and she has earned
many awards and recognitions, including lettering in softball all four years,
being named softball defensive player of the year her sophomore year and
softball co-defensive player of the year during her junior year, and playing
softball with the North Georgia Dream Team her junior year; and
WHEREAS,
in addition to softball, Lauren has played varsity soccer for four years, she
has lettered in soccer for three years, and was named Hardcore Player of the
Year in her junior year; and
WHEREAS,
she is a member of the HOSA club, the FBLA club, and the FCA club;
and
WHEREAS,
she will attend Chattanooga State Technical Community College on a softball
scholarship; and
WHEREAS,
in a world which consistently seems to accentuate the negative aspects of the
actions of young people, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to
recognize with particularity the outstanding accomplishments of this
extraordinary individual.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Ms. Lauren Stoker for her achievements and express to
her their sincerest best wishes for continued success in the
future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Lauren
Stoker.
