RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Leah Massee, Miss Georgia 2007; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the beautiful, intelligent, and talented Leah Massee has been selected as Miss
Georgia 2007; and
WHEREAS,
this extraordinary woman is a graduate of Valdosta State University where she
majored in communication; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced dramatically by her superlative service as a tireless advocate for CMN
Hospital in South Georgia and founding a Hurricane Katrina relief tem;
and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, her keen sense of vision, and her sensitivity to the needs of the
citizens of her community have earned her the respect and admiration of her
colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
by her many achievements, grace, and poise, Leah has brought credit to her
family and to her community and state; and all Georgians are proud of women who,
like Leah, represent the very best that this state has to offer.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Leah Massee on becoming Miss Georgia 2007; commend her
for her efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service; and
extend to her their most sincere best wishes for continued health and
happiness.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Leah Massee.
