A
RESOLUTION
Commending
and recognizing Kelli Stevenson for her outstanding accomplishments; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Kelli Stevenson was named to the National Honor Society for 2005-2008;
and
WHEREAS,
during her high school career, she has been active in many extracurricular
activities, such as being on the prom committee, a member of the Key Club, a
ProCheer instructor, a junior achiever, in powderpuff football, a Miss Johnson
participant and runner-up, and on the high school Sweetheart Court;
and
WHEREAS,
Kelli was named Georgia Cheerleader of the Year 2007-2008, and her other
cheerleading awards and honors include Best Jumps 2004-2005, Best All-Around
Cheerleader 2006-2007, NCA All-American Cheerleader 2005 and 2006, the
Cheerleading Academic Award 4.0 in 2006, and the Cheerleading Academic Award 4.1
in 2007; and
WHEREAS,
she received the 100% Attendance Award from her school in 2006; and
WHEREAS,
she has been a member of the Chestnut Mountain Church Youth Group since 2001 and
volunteers with vacation Bible school activities; and
WHEREAS,
Kelli has volunteered and participated in numerous community activities,
including Keep Hall Beautiful, Upward Athletics, the Park and Recreation
Superbowl Carnival, Hall County Special Olympics, the Homecoming Carnival, as a
reading tutor for Jones Elementary School, JHS Kiddie Camp, South Hall Middle
School Cheer Camp, Old Navy Pep Rally, the GCCA Fashion Show, the Secret Santa
program, and the Canned Food Drive.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Kelli Stevenson on her outstanding achievements and wish her
many more successes in the years to come.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Kelli
Stevenson.
