RESOLUTION
Remembering
and honoring the life of Mr. R. Darwin Frankum, Jr.; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. R. Darwin Frankum was born December 10, 1938, in Hall County, Georgia, to
the late Reo Darwin Frankum, Sr., and Margaret House Frankum; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Frankum was a graduate of the University of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
he was employed by Macklanburg Duncan Company for 30 years, and he served as
vice president of Loxcreen Company; and
WHEREAS,
he was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Chattahoochee Country Club, Friends of
Gillsville, and the Blackshear Place Baptist Church, where he served on the
welcome team and was a member of the Homer Myers Bible Fellowship Class;
and
WHEREAS,
he was an avid golfer and loved University of Georgia football; and
WHEREAS,
he had a great love for his wife Jackie, four children, and eight
grandchildren.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join together to express their deepest regret at the passing of Mr. R.
Darwin Frankum, Jr., and extend their most sincere condolences to his family and
friends.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Mr. R. Darwin Frankum, Jr.
