RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Max Pinion; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Max Pinion is a sixth grade student at Sixes Elementary School in Canton,
Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
after countless hours of creative thought and careful preparation, Max won the
Sixes Elementary School Social Studies Fair; and
WHEREAS,
the Georgia General Assembly welcomes the interest of young people and
encourages all students who wish to learn more about political campaigns and the
democratic process; and
WHEREAS,
a school project is a unique method of learning that rewards personal curiosity
and academic creativity; and
WHEREAS,
this young student's hard work merits the highest of praise.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join to congratulate Max Pinion on winning the Sixes Elementary School
Social Studies Fair and extend to him the best of wishes on his
future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Max Pinion.
