BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act creating a new charter for the City of Statesboro, approved March
26, 1987 (Ga. L. 1987, p. 4557), as amended, so as to change the corporate
limits of the city; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act creating a new charter for the City of Statesboro, approved March 26, 1987
(Ga. L. 1987, p. 4557), as amended, is amended by inserting a new Section 1.3 to
read as follows:
"SECTION
1.3.
In
addition to any other property included within the corporate limits of the City
of Statesboro, such corporate limits shall also include the following
property:
All
that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 1209th G.M. District
of Bulloch County, City of Statesboro, Georgia containing 12.20 acres according
to a survey by Thomas M. Lewis, Land Surveyor, for Paul Walker dated December
16, 2003 and recorded in Plat Book 62, page 162, Bulloch County, Georgia
Records. Said survey is incorporated herein for all purposes of
description."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
