BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 12-5-573 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to definitions relative to the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning
District Act, so as to change a certain definition; to repeal conflicting laws;
and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 12-5-573 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
definitions relative to the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District
Act, is amended by revising paragraph (5) as follows:
"(5)
'Local government' means any county or municipality of this state
which has
sewer facilities lying in whole or in part
within the district area."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
