BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 40-2-86.22 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated,
relating to special license plates that send proceeds to the general fund, so as
to create a special license plate honoring Georgia municipal clerks; to provide
for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 40-2-86.22 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
special license plates that send proceeds to the general fund, is amended by
adding a new paragraph (5) to subsection (l) as follows:
"(5)
A special license plate honoring Georgia municipal clerks. The municipal
clerk´s office provides the professional link connecting citizens with
their local governing bodies and agencies of government at other levels. The
funds raised by the sale of this license plate shall be deposited in the general
fund."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
