BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 12-7-17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to exemptions from the control of soil erosion and sedimentation, so as to add
an exemption for removal of beaver dams; to provide for related matters; to
repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 12-7-17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
exemptions from the control of soil erosion and sedimentation, is amended by
revising paragraph (3) as follows:
"(3)
Such minor land-disturbing activities as home gardens and individual home
landscaping, repairs, maintenance work, fences,
beaver dam
removal, and other related activities
which result in minor soil erosion;"
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
