BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act consolidating, creating, revising, and superseding the several Acts
incorporating the City of Alpharetta in the County of Fulton and creating a new
charter for said municipal corporation, approved April 9, 1981
(Ga. L. 1981, p. 4609), as amended, so as to remove certain property
from the corporate limits of such city; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act consolidating, creating, revising, and superseding the several Acts
incorporating the City of Alpharetta in the County of Fulton and creating a new
charter for said municipal corporation, approved April 9, 1981
(Ga. L. 1981, p. 4609), as amended, is amended by adding at the end of
Section 1.11 a new subsection (g) to read as follows:
"(g)
Notwithstanding any provisions of this section to the contrary, the following
described property is hereby removed from the corporate limits of the City of
Alpharetta and such corporate limits shall not include the following described
property:
'All
of that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 1124 of the 2nd
District, 1st Section, Fulton County, Georgia, being a tract of 1.442 acres,
more or less, (including slope and drainage easements) as shown on a plat of
survey for Stephen M. Thompson by Brumbelow-Reese & Assoc., Inc., R.L.S.,
dated June 17, 2003, and being further described as follows:
That
same parcel of land conveyed to Stephen M. Thompson by Deed dated April 21, 1982
and recorded in Deed Book 8114, Page 202, Fulton County Records and further
depicted on a plat of survey for Stephen M. Thompson by Brumbelow-Reese &
Assoc., Inc., R.L.S., dated April 7, 1982, recorded in Deed Book 126, Page 4,
Fulton County Records; plus land conveyed to Stephen M. Thompson by Deed dated
February 2, 1983 and recorded in Deed Book 8412, Page 185, Fulton County
Records; minus land conveyed July 1, 2003 to Fulton County via Right of Way
Deed.'"
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
