AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act providing a supplement to the compensation, expenses, and
allowances of the judges of the superior court of the Stone Mountain Judicial
Circuit, approved March 21, 1974 (Ga. L. 1974, p. 391), as amended, particularly
by an Act approved March 30, 1989 (Ga. L. 1989, p. 4696), an Act approved April
15, 1992 (Ga. L. 1992, p. 6269), an Act approved March 27, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p.
3521), an Act approved April 2, 1998 (Ga. L. 1998, p. 4075), and an Act approved
May 6, 2005 (Ga. L. 2005, p. 3782), so as to increase the amount of such
supplement; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act providing a supplement to the compensation, expenses, and allowances of the
judges of the superior court of the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit, approved
March 21, 1974 (Ga. L. 1974, p. 391), as amended, particularly by an Act
approved March 30, 1989 (Ga. L. 1989, p. 4696), an Act approved April 15, 1992
(Ga. L. 1992, p. 6269), an Act approved March 27, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p. 3521),
an Act approved April 2, 1998 (Ga. L. 1998, p. 4075), and an Act approved May 6,
2005 (Ga. L. 2005, p. 3782), is amended by adding a new subsection at the end of
Section 1, to be designated subsection (i), to read as follows:
"(i)
The salary supplement provided for by this section to the superior court judges
of the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit shall be increased in the amount of
$7,465.00."
SECTION
2.
This
Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its
becoming law without such approval.
SECTION
3.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
