BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 15-16-21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to fees for sheriff´s services, so as to increase the fees for service in
civil cases; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date;
to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 15-16-21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to fees for
sheriff´s services, is amended by revising subsection (b) as
follows:
"(b)
For the services of the sheriff in civil cases, the following fees shall be
charged:

Act shall become effective on July 1, 2007.
