BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act reconstituting the Board of Education of Terrell County approved
April 13, 2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 3555), so as to increase the compensation for
said board; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act reconstituting the Board of Education of Terrell County approved April 13,
2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 3555), is amended by revising Section 5 as
follows:
"SECTION
5.
Members
of the Board of Education of Terrell County shall be compensated in the amount
of $100.00 per meeting with the exception of the chairperson who shall be
compensated in the amount of $125.00 per meeting. Members of the board,
including the chairperson, shall be reimbursed for the actual expenses
necessarily incurred for attending meetings in the performance of their official
duties when those meetings occur outside the Terrell County School
District."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
