A RESOLUTION

Celebrating the birth of Arthur Philip Cook IV; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, on Sunday, September 5, 2005, Arthur Philip Cook III and Morgan Perry Cook became the proud parents of Arthur Philip Cook IV; and

WHEREAS, Arthur Philip Cook III and Morgan Perry Cook are distinguished citizens and the birth of their new baby brings joy to all who are privileged to know them; and

WHEREAS, Morgan Perry Cook worked almost four years for the Senate Republican Caucus before becoming the Director of Legislative Affairs for Governor Sonny Perdue; and

WHEREAS, Morgan Perry Cook delivered legislation for the Governor and now she has delivered Philip for the world; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting that this body express its sentiments on this happy occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body congratulates Arthur Philip Cook III and Morgan Perry Cook on the birth of their son, Arthur Philip Cook IV, and wishes a long and happy life for this new little one.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the proud parents of Arthur Philip Cook IV.
