RESOLUTION
Commending
Chamblee Charter High School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the students of Chamblee Charter High School have distinguished themselves by
posting the highest average SAT score of any school in DeKalb County;
and
WHEREAS,
the
schooĺs
average of 1128 is among the highest in the entire state; and
WHEREAS,
it is a tremendous achievement which further illustrates the excellence of the
overall academic program at Chamblee Charter High School, one of DeKalb
Countýs
oldest high schools; and
WHEREAS,
the administrators and faculty of Chamblee Charter High School actively strive
to create an educational environment where all students may reach their highest
potential and their students have responded with outstanding results;
and
WHEREAS,
the SAT is this
natiońs
oldest and most widely used college entrance exam; and
WHEREAS,
the students of Chamblee Charter High School have responded to the academic
challenges of the SAT with admirable distinction and are deserving of the
highest praise.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend the students, teachers, and administrators of Chamblee Charter
High School for their outstanding academic effort and achievement.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the principal
of Chamblee Charter High School.
