A RESOLUTION

Commending Bishop Estella G. Hudson; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the affirmation and confirmation of Bishop Estella G. Hudson to the office of Apostle was accomplished at a Holy Coronation on August 27, 2005, at Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center in Savannah; and

WHEREAS, Bishop Hudson has devoted over 30 years of her life to the ministry of the Gospel and is the founder of the Spiritual House of the Lord, Inc., which has locations in Savannah, Montezuma, and Atlanta; and

WHEREAS, Bishop Hudson also oversees the Eagles Ministry of Fire, Inc., in Ocala, Florida; and

WHEREAS, this woman of God has rendered untiring service to the Lord and has labored diligently in ministries to benefit His people by housing the homeless, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and evoking the performance of many miracles by the authority of the Christ.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Bishop Estella G. Hudson for her many contributions to her community.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Bishop Estella G. Hudson.
