RESOLUTION
Commending
Andrew Sosebee, Hart County's STAR Student; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Andrew Sosebee has achieved exceptional scholastic accomplishments at Hart
County High School in Hart County, Georgia; and is completing his high school
requirements at Emmanuel College; and
WHEREAS,
the STAR Student program, sponsored by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce and
the Hart County Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, recognizes the student from the top 10
percent of the senior class with the highest SAT score from each school; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Sosebee, who scored a 1240 on the SAT, earned the STAR position at Hart
County High School where he was also a member of the wrestling team;
and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of his outstanding dedication to academic excellence, Andrew
Sosebee was further chosen from among this select group as the Hart County STAR
Student; and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting and proper to recognize appropriately the accomplishments and
achievements of this remarkable young man.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Andrew Sosebee for his extraordinary scholastic accomplishments, congratulate
him upon being named the Hart County High School STAR Student and the Hart
County STAR Student, and extend their sincerest best wishes for his bright and
promising future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Andrew Sosebee.
