offered the following amendment:
Amend
SR 166 by adding immediately following line 29 of page 2 the
following:
"BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the sense of the Senate that no general bill
providing for the apportionment of representative districts, senatorial
districts, or both, shall be enacted prior to 2011 due to the apportionment
plans of the Special Master adopted by the United States District Court for the
Northern District of Georgia in Larios v. Cox, 314 F. Supp. 2d 1357 (N. D. Ga.
2004), which plans comply with the criteria set forth in this
resolution."
