A RESOLUTION

Commending Dyanne C. Reese; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Dyanne C. Reese is a 36 year veteran employee of the City of Savannah and recently celebrated her 25th year as the city clerk; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Reese has decided to seek the Office of Second Vice President of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks; and

WHEREAS, she has been a member of the organization since 1985 and has been active at every level of the organization having served on numerous committees; and

WHEREAS, she is a team player and team builder with the ability to bring consensus but also deal with the difficult questions and controversial issues by making decisions that are best for the organization; and

WHEREAS, overwhelming support has been demonstrated for her decision to seek this office by those who have placed their confidence in her leadership abilities; and

WHEREAS, it is her vision to facilitate the growth and development of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks to ensure its bright and prosperous future; and

WHEREAS, Dyanne Reese brings new, fresh, and exciting ideas along with her professionalism and dedication to this organization, and it is fitting that this body commend her for her accomplishments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Dyanne C. Reese for her many years of effective and dedicated public service to the citizens of Savannah and the state and extend to her their most sincere best wishes for continued success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Dyanne C. Reese.
