RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Braddy Electric Company; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Braddy Electric Company was named winner of the 2006 Successful Urban Savannah
Independent Entrepreneur Award by the Savannah Downtown Business Association;
and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding company has grown from its humble beginnings in 1970 to become
one of the leading electrical service businesses in this state; and
WHEREAS,
under the initial guiding hands of Joe Braddy, followed by his children, this
remarkable corporate citizen has established a glowing reputation of renown
throughout Georgia for its ability to accommodate changes in the electric
services industry and it continues to meet the diversified needs of its
customers with friendly and professional service; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
amazing company be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate Braddy Electric Company on the occasion of it being named winner of
the 2006 Successful Urban Savannah Independent Entrepreneur Award, commend it
for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and
extend to it their best wishes for continued corporate growth, development, and
success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Braddy Electric Company.
