RESOLUTION
Commending
Toccoa Clinic Medical Associates and congratulating it on its 60th anniversary;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Toccoa Clinic Medical Associates was founded by Drs. Arthur Singer, Charles
Henry, and William Good in 1946 in Toccoa, as
Georgiás
first multi-specialty medical practice; and
WHEREAS,
in providing 60 years of health care, Toccoa Clinic Medical Associates now has
35 medical providers and superior medical associates as well as an outstanding
technical support staff which offers 12 specialty practices in four locations;
and
WHEREAS,
Toccoa Clinic Medical Associates has long focused on quality patient care and
new disciplines, including outcomes measurement, patient satisfaction, cost
management, and managed care risk tolerance to confirm a more integrated health
care delivery system; and
WHEREAS,
the credo of the clinic is "to the glory of God and service of man";
and
WHEREAS,
its 60th anniversary slogan is "care, commitment, community."
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
commending Toccoa Clinic Medical Associates for its many contributions to the
health care of
Georgiás
citizens and in congratulating this remarkable institution on reaching its 60th
anniversary.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Toccoa Clinic Medical
Associates.
