BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 1-3-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to
definitions of terms used in such code or other laws of the state, so as to
define the term biodiesel fuel; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 1-3-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to definitions
of terms used in such code or other laws of the state, is amended by adding a
new paragraph (5.1) to read as follows:
"(5.1)
'Biodiesel fuel' means a fuel comprised of mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty
acids derived from wood, wood residue, crops, residues, stover, agricultural
wastes, or animal fats with each production run meeting the requirements of
American Society of Testing and Materials standard D
6751."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
