BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act to supplement the salaries of the judges of the Superior Court of
Fulton County, approved March 8, 1945 (Ga. L. 1945, p. 1076), as
amended, so as to increase the amount of such supplement; to provide for related
matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act to supplement the salaries of the judges of the Superior Court of Fulton
County, approved March 8, 1945 (Ga. L. 1945, p. 1076), as
amended, is amended by striking Section 1 of the Act and inserting in lieu
thereof a new Section 1 to read as follows:
∀SECTION
1.
Be
it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Georgia, and it is hereby
enacted by authority of the same, that the Board of County Commissioners of
Fulton County, or such other board or persons as may from time to time exercise
the administrative power of Fulton County, shall pay to each of the judges of
the Superior Court of Fulton County, in addition to the salaries paid by the
state, the sum of $37,989.00 per annum; payable in equal monthly installments;
and the amounts so paid are declared to be part of the court expenses of said
county.∀
SECTION
2.
This
Act shall become effective on January 1, 2007.
SECTION
3.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
