RESOLUTION
Remembering
and honoring the life of Trevon Wilson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
on May 7, 2000, Trevon Wilson was born to loving parents Tyron Wilson and Robin
Brassell; and
WHEREAS,
Trevon Wilson was inspired by his loving grandparents Harold and Glenda
Darville; and
WHEREAS,
on Sunday, June 6, 2004, Trevon Wilson departed this life at the age of four
because of a stray bullet that came from a hail of gun fire that rained down on
Riverdale Recreation Park; and
WHEREAS,
Trevon Wilson's favorite food was chicken wings and Checkers French fries;
and
WHEREAS,
this energetic and bright young boy enjoyed playing with his play station, which
was his favorite toy, and watching his favorite movie, Spider-Man;
and
WHEREAS,
the officials of Clayton County and the City of Riverdale have directed that the
Riverdale Recreation Park will change its name on April 16, 2005, to the Trevon
Wilson Recreation Park.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join to remember and honor the life of Trevon Wilson.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Trevon Wilson.
