RESOLUTION
Commending
Joe Hall on his public service and congratulating him on the occasion of his
retirement; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Joe Hall of Coolidge, Georgia, has consistently served the public with
distinction for over 30 years with the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Hall began his career with the State Fire
Marshaĺs
office as a Fire Specialist III in 1973, subsequently being promoted to the
positions of Fire Specialist IV in 1978, Consumer Specialist in 1983, Supervisor
in 1991, Senior Supervisor in 1993, and Senior Administrative Specialist in
1995; and
WHEREAS,
he had the great honor of serving as the chairperson of the Primary Inspection
Agency to provide inspection services to the manufactured housing industry as
designated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Hall will retire on May 1, 2006, and a retirement party will be held in his
honor on April 13, 2006, at the Holiday Inn in Perry, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Mr.
Halĺs
public service of over 30 years has made Georgia a better place, and he will be
sorely missed by his many friends and colleagues.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Mr. Joe Hall on the occasion of his retirement, thank him
for his many years of exemplary service to the state, and hope his well deserved
retirement years will be enjoyable and enriching for him and his
family.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Joe Hall.
